Dickinson Cup
Across the Javelin Yearbooks available in this project (1975–1995), the Dickinson Cup appears with two different purposes over time:
The Yearbooks also record the trophy as “last record 1987” under the Nationals, club award description, and later show a Blakeney cancellation entry. The trophy was returned to Blakeney Sailing Club.
- Mid, 1980s: a National Championships (Nationals) trophy, awarded to a club (winner shown as Blakeney Sailing Club in 1985).
- Early 1990s: a Blakeney Open trophy for the highest placed Blakeney Sailing Club member, with the name “current holders” (David & Lulu Longstaff) in the Yearbook record.
