Endeavour Trophy

The Endeavour Trophy is consistently described as a special “endeavour” or “triers” award, recognising effort and contribution over a season rather than a specific race result. It is variously shown as presented at the Nationals and, in at least one year, deferred to the Inland Championship for presentation.

Purpose and nature of the award

• Presented for “endeavour” throughout the year.  Also referred to as a “special triers” / “best trier” award in the Nationals trophies list.

• ​In 1996 Nationals reporting, the Yearbook notes it was not presented at the Nationals prizegiving and would be presented at the Inland Championship at Rutland for endeavour throughout the year.
