Fast Handicap Fleet - Javelins
1st - Javelin GBR577 Richard & Kathryn Smith 3rd - Javelin GBR548 Brian Dixon & Mark Dixon 6th - Javelin GBR572 Matthew Botfield & Neil Reid Great weekend sailing at Filey SC, as part of ‘The Great British Sailing Challenge’ series. Very challenging blustery conditions, but what an adrenaline rush. Won by Richard Smith & Kathryn Partington Smith with Brian Dixon and Mark Dixon 3rd and Matthew Botfield and Neil Reid 6th. - 90 boats racing on the same course. Young future Javeliners Sebastian and Eddy also did well in their Oppies. Great to see a ‘blast from the past’. Kate Mather who with partner Colin Mather used to sail ‘Q-T-Pie ! Well sailed everyone. The Javelin certainly represented itself well. |
