Javelin National Championship

Glossop Sailing Club, Toreside Reservoir.

 Two days of intense racing took place over a wide and  varied range of weather conditions, challenging the best of us.
​Usually local knowledge  leads the way up the course, but not at Glossop. With spinning burgees  it was anyones guess  on the Saturday and  the long distance travellers Paul Ross and David Wilkes  certainly gave the Reid team the run around.

Sunday was  quite the opposite of  the previous day with  a gusty F5/6 making the beat up to  the windward mark exhausting, much like river sailing between to hills.
Thanks to everyone at Glossop sailing club for hosting the event.  It was great to catch up with other Javeliner's , Paul , David and shoreside supporters Phil Gudgeon and Peter Whalley .
